Diamond Tools (pos.1) are attached to the Tool Disc (pos.4) with help of magnets-and-pins holding (as shown on Рic. 1).
The cutting effort of each diamond tool (pos.1) is accepted by 3 pins (pos.3). Tools are holding on the pins with 2 magnets (pos.2), which are fixed in the Tool Disc (pos.4). The minimum holding strength of each pair of magnets is 2 kg., which guarantees holding of standard segment with own weight of about 0,15 kg.
Magnets (pos.2) have the same thickness as the Tool Disc (pos.4), and are placed on the same level with the Tool Disc surface (see Pic 2). Therefore, the magnet can hold diamond tools on the Tool Disc as well as the Tool Disc itself on the machine. Transfer of rotating power / moment of torsion is done with three pins (pos.7). The holding power of the magnet disc with all magnets is not less than 24 kg. Tool disc weight is 4,8 kg. The magnet is made of alloy Sm+Co that does not loose its magnetic features under up to +250 degrees С.
Such disc can be placed instead of bayonet disc, without any changes to the grinding machine (see Pic. 3). The disc significantly simplifies and makes faster the change of diamond tools as well as the change of the whole tool disc.
